All vendors and food trucks must provide a Sales Tax ID Number per the state of South Carolina. Non-profit and church organization must provide a letter.

*Baked food items will be sold by the Clio Cotton Festival Committee ONLY.  Example: Cupcakes, cakes, cookies, pies etc.

Late fee of $50.00 if received after deadline and only if space is available.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

The Clio Cotton Festival will have as part of its 2024 Festival an Arts and Crafts Show, Crafts Vendor Area and Food Vendor Area, to be held October 5th (Saturday only) located on Drew St. in the town of Clio, South Carolina. 

​

The festival will be Saturday, October 5th from 10 am until 4 pm. Each space is 12 x 12 and there is a limit of two spaces per exhibitor, all items must fit inside the space you purchased. Exhibits should be appealing to the eye with tables covered and boxes should be hidden under the tables. 

FUNERAL TENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

 

All items are to be listed on the application that will be sold at the festival your booth will be checked for these items.  There will be no more than 3 of the same items sold at the festival for arts and crafts and food vendors. Example: Only 3 vendors will be able to sell hot dogs, only 3 vendors will be able to sell pocket books. Only food vendors will be allowed to sell drinks or water. The festival committee has agreed to this to allow those participating to have good sales for the day. We want everyone to enjoy themselves. Therefore, you will need to submit your application as soon as possible. Submissions are based on first come first serve! If you were a vendor at last year’s festival and would like your same booth space you should send in your application as soon as you receive it. 

NO YARD SALE ITEMS ARE TO BE SOLD! NO RAFFLES PLEASE! (Unless pre-approved by the festival committee.) There will be no snap and pops, play guns, silly string or other items that pertain to this sold at the festival. 

 

All exhibitors will be expected to remain open the hours designated. If for some reason you cannot do this, please speak to a festival committee member to make arrangements. Cars are only permitted in the Arts & Crafts area for unloading and loading from 7:00 am – 9:00 am in the morning and after 4 pm in the afternoon.

 

EACH VENDOR MUST BE UNLOADED AND READY TO SET UP BY 9:00 AM, IF YOU HAVE NOT UNLOADED BY 9:00 AM YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO SET UP FOR THE FESTIVAL, BOOTH FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE, SO PLEASE PLAN YOUR TIME TO ACCORDINGLY. 

 

All exhibit areas are OUTDOORS on dirt and grass. Please bring garbage bags to keep your area clean during the festival!

 

**PLEASE READ CAREFULLY** IF YOU LEAVE BEFORE 4 PM, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RETURN TO NEXT YEARS FESTIVAL. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU BRING ENOUGH ITEMS TO LAST UNTIL THE END OF THE FESTIVAL. 

 

ELECTRICITY is not available, if it is needed you must bring your own quiet generator

 

Neither the Clio Cotton Festival nor its committee assumes any responsibility for the loss or damage of exhibits, nor any other liability to personal injury, property damage, or tax matters pertaining hereto. The Clio Cotton Festival reserves the right to refuse any vendor deemed inappropriate. The Clio Cotton Festival also reserves the right to revise, amend, alter any terms and conditions provided, but shall not be responsible for or liable in respect of any such revisions, amendments, or alterations. The festival will be held rain or shine.

I ACCEPT FULL RESPONSIBILITY for any medical incident or injury to myself, or any person(s) conducting & promoting business and/or serving as any representative on my behalf.  I have read, understood and accept all terms stipulated in this contract.
